tote verb /tōt/ - To carry something, especially something heavy or substantial.
tøte verb /tōt/ To carry something, crossbody.
TØTE started with a broken handle.
One day, the handles of a standard, cheap tote snapped on the way out the door. To keep moving, we tied them into a single strap and wore it crossbody. And it instantly worked better.
It stayed put, kept our hands free, and looked better too.
At the same time, we saw the bigger picture.
That broken tote was one of dozens, the cheap giveaways everyone keeps collecting, piling up year after year, and not one that works for a real day.
A crossbody tote didn't exist yet, and neither did a single bag good enough to replace the pile.
What if we can make one that does both?
We don't need more bags. We need one that works all the time.
That is the philosophy with which we design our bags. Different looks, but always:
One bag, worn crossbody, enough for your whole day.
Three principles guide everything we make.
Confidence
One bag that fits every outfit, every setting, every plan. Minimal by design, so it always feels right - and always feels like you, wherever the day goes.
Ease
TØTE is made to carry your day, not interrupt it. Smart in function. Clear in form. Effortless to use.
Responsibility
We create pieces that last, that adapt to real life, and that matter. One bag that stays, not another one that disappears.
We design bags that move with you, through everything you are today.
So you don’t have to change bags to change plans.
Less noise. More intention.
We don’t design for single moments: we design for every day. Not for trends, but for timeless use.
