All four have a water-repellent shell, so rain beads and runs off rather than soaking in. What separates them is what you carry and how you want it organised. Below is each one, what it is for, and what it costs. Skip to the table if you only want the differences.
TLDR: laptop most days, the SIV. Everything in its own compartment, the ALVA. Keys, phone and wallet only, the FIN. Most structure, the Zipper Bag. All four water-repellent, none of them impervious.

Zipper Bag
Get this one if your bag has to take a laptop and you would rather not think about the weather.
This is the one most people end up with. A water-repellent nylon shell, a zip across the main compartment, and 17 litres inside, which is a laptop, a sweater, a bottle and chargers without the bag looking full. The strap is the soft adjustable one, so it sits where you set it and stays there. Rain beads on the outside and runs off.
Our pick of the four
Get this one if you hate digging, and want a place for the laptop, the cables and the small things.
The most organised bag in the collection. Same shape as the ALTA, but in a water-repellent ripstop shell. A laptop sleeve, zip pockets and multiple compartments inside, so the things you reach for are not all in one pile at the bottom. Black only.
The most organised bag we make
Get this one if you want your hands free and your pockets empty, and nothing more than that.
The small one. Water-repellent ripstop, a zip closure and an accessory pocket inside, and that is the whole bag. It is the only one of the four that disappears under a jacket. No laptop, by design. Two sizes: FIN Move is the smaller, FIN Carry the bigger.
The smallest of the four
Get this one if you want a compartment for everything and a bag that keeps its shape.
The most structured bag in the collection, and the one that holds its shape empty. Five zipped compartments, four on the outside and one main, in a water-repellent nylon ripstop. The laptop compartment closes with a velcro band rather than a zip. There are no extra inner pockets, on purpose, so the inside stays clean.
Four colours exist, one is in stock
Four in five people who ask us this question end up with the SIV, and it is the bag we would hand you if you gave us no other information. It takes a laptop, it sheds rain, it comes in seven colours, and the strap is the comfortable one. The others are better at one specific thing. The SIV is the one that is rarely the wrong answer.
You cannot tell how a bag carries from a photograph. Order the one that sounds right, carry it for a normal week, and if it is not the one, returns are easy and you can swap it for another. That is the whole risk of choosing from this page.
Whichever one you picked, it is in the sale. The SIV is €59 from €80.

Been caught in the rain twice on the bike and everything inside was bone dry.
Best sling bag I have ever purchased.
Really well made, easy to sling over my head for the crossbody, hands free. And capacious.
It strikes a great balance between practicality and understated design.
A water-repellent shell makes rain bead up and run off instead of soaking in, which covers a commute, a shower and a wet market run. Hold any of these bags under a running tap and it will get wet. That is the honest limit, and we will not claim more than it.
The SIV, the ALVA and the Zipper Bag all take a laptop. The FIN does not, by design. We do not publish a maximum screen size, so if you are near the top end, measure yours against the bag's dimensions on its product page.
Both are organised, in opposite ways. The ALVA organises inside: a laptop sleeve and zip pockets within one main space. The Zipper Bag organises outside: five zipped compartments, four of them reachable without opening the bag, and a deliberately plain interior.
Four colours exist, but only Off White is in stock today. Black, Navy Blue and Khaki Green are all sold out, so the block above links the one you can actually order. If you want one of the others, its product page is where a restock shows first.
Wipe the shell clean with a damp cloth. None of the four is meant for a washing machine, and putting one through a cycle is the fastest way to lose the water-repellent finish.
Carry it for your normal week: commute, work, groceries. If it is not right, returns are easy and swapping it for another of the four is straightforward.
